Day 22: Spice Up Your Wild Idea

For a long time, I thought my feelings of fear made me weak and vulnerable. But then I learned that my fear is the root of my being unstoppable.

Listen to the audio, then do the journaling activity below.

For a long time, I thought my feelings of fear made me weak and vulnerable. But then I learned that my fear is the root of my being unstoppable.

It’s how I use the feelings of fear that generates a different result.

Instead of using my fear as a tool to criticize myself, I now get curious about it.

  • What is it that I need to learn?
  • What do I need to be willing to do or manage in this situation?

My unconscious mind sends me a feeling of fear because there’s something that needs my attention. As soon as I start asking better questions, the fear goes away.

Managing fear in this way has created more mental and emotional space for me to dream of possibilities for my life.

Today’s Journal Prompt

The themes you established on Day 20 can be applied to every aspect of your life. They also apply to your wild idea. Today’s activity is a simple one. Go back to Day 7, review what you wrote, and explore the landscape you have envisaged. Here are some questions to prompt you thinking;

  • Are some of the themes already present in your wild idea?
  • Are you surprised to see them there?
  • How can you incorporate all of your themes into your idea?

Remember, at this stage, you don’t have to do anything you write down.

Be willing to explore, play and be creative.

Give yourself permission to include details that currently feel ‘impossible’.

How are you feeling as you do this activity? What thought bubbles arise? Write those down, too.
